Nov 6. 2006 Hey everyone. It's very nice to be home enjoying some down time here in Connecticut. We've played a few shows since we've been home from tour and want to thank those of you who came out and hung out with us. More shows are going to be lined up soon, but we will be home writing some new songs and demoing them in hopes of releasing a new record some time early next year. Just make sure you keep an eye on our myspace page (www.myspace.com/topofthefair) for current shows and band info. Sep 28. 2006 Hey everyone! Our tour with Mourningstar is winding down and we are gonna miss those guys a lot! We'll be coming home and will begin to write some songs for our upcoming full length album, which will be released sometime next year on New School Records. We'll also be playing a ton of shows in the New England area soon, so keep your eyes on our MySpace page for the dates. We miss all our New England buddies so we hope to see you all soon! Aug 22. 2006 What's up guys? Sorry it's been so long since we've updated this. The New School Records Tour 2006 has kicked off and the shows have been awesome. We'll be on the road with the band Mourningstar for the next 50 days or so and we can already tell it is going to be a blast. After this tour we are planning to spend about a month off at home, writing some new songs and playing some shows in the tri state area. June 19. 2006 Hey everyone, hope all is going well. It's been a while since we've updated this page, but we've been very busy for sure gearing up for our summer tour schedule. We leave this Saturday for a little over a month and we hope to see a ton of you guys out at the shows. All of the dates are posted on our myspace page, so go see if we are coming to your area! We're really excited to finally be hitting up the west coast as well as a bunch of other new places we haven't toured to before. Thanks so much to everyone who made it out to our last two hometown shows. We are playing again this weekend in Milford, so please come out again! May 15. 2006 Hey everyone! Just wanted to give you a quick reminder to come to our hometown show this Friday in Milford at the Point Beach Clubhouse. We'll be playing with This Year's Anthem, Under a Falling sky and a bunch of other awesome bands. The show starts at 6pm and is only $8 bucks. The place is located at 204 Melba Street, right near Foran High School. Also be sure to head on over to Interpunk.com and pick yourself up a copy of the New School Records Label Sampler. It features over 20 tracks by all their artists, including an unreleased track from us! The best part is...... The first 100 copies are being sold for only ONE DOLLAR! Apr 24. 2006 Hey Everyone! Hope all is well. Sorry we've been so lame about updating this web site. We're all really busy dudes - Honestly! Anyway, you can check us out in our hometown this Friday! We're going to be playing at the Point Beach Clubhouse with a bunch of other rad bands. The show starts at 6pm and is only 8 bucks. It's at 204 Melba Street in Milford, CT. Hope to see you guys all there rocking out! Also, we've begun confirming dates of our summer tour which will take us down to Florida, out west through Texas to California, then straight across the US back home! So if you're a west coaster and you have yet to catch us live, now is your chance. If you don't catch us this time around, we will definitely be somewhere near you again in August-October. Mar 7. 2006 Whats up everyone? We know, it's been FOREVER since we have updated this website, so here it is. A big thanks to everyone who bought merch or let us crash on theyre floor on our recent tour out west a few weeks back. It was an awesome time and we hope to see all you guys very soon! We are going to be headed back on the road in April for a week or so of dates down the east coast to Florida. Jan 16. 2006 Hey everyone, hope your new years was as sweet as ours. We have extremely awesome news for you guys... We finally have found a new drummer and are very excited to get back on the road again. We are currently planning a 10 day tour in February, so keep your eyes on our MySpace page for the dates and locations! We are also going to be playing some Connecticut shows this month, so come out and party with us. Most importantly we'll be in our hometown of Milford, playing at the Point Beach Clubhouse on Saturday, January 21st. Our buds, The Actual from LA will also be rocking the stage as will a whole bunch of other awesome bands. Show starts at 6pm, so make sure you get there early! Dec 20. 2005 Hey everyone. Hope your week has been well. We want to thank anyone who came out and saw us this last weekend in CT and NJ. We had an absolute blast playing with all the bands! In other news, we just posted a pretty fun video on myspace of all our tour footage from this past summer to the tune of 'The San Andreas Fault'. If you've got a minute, you'll definitely want to go check it out. We are still on the search for a drummer and have been holding tryouts. If you would like to try out to be in our band, please send us an e-mail to band@topofthefair.com. Serious inquires only please. We really miss having a good drummer, rocking out for you guys at shows, being in the van and all the other great things that go along with playing in a full band, so rest assured we'll be back soon. Dec 5. 2005 Hey everyone! It seems that we are already slacking on updates and we're real sorry. Either we are really busy or really lazy. You pick. Anyway, for those of you who haven't heard Jeff is no longer a part of our band and we are looking to try someone out to be our new drummer. If you feel you have what it takes, please send an e mail to band@topofthefair.com and let us know if your interested. Kurt and Will just returned home from playing a few shows acoustic out in PA and NJ and had a great time. Thanks to everyone who picked up a CD or just swung by the merch table to say hello! We are working on getting a fill-in drummer sometime extremely soon, but until then all our shows will be acoustic. We refuse to cancel any of our shows due to this minor setback, so please come out and see us! Our next show is this Friday in Long Island, New York. This last weekend was an eventful one for us and a big thanks goes out to everyone who came and rocked with us at our CD release shows in Maryland and Connecticut... And also to everyone who came out to Kurt's house to party afterward! Thanks for making it a weekend we will never forget! Anyways, our CD is NOW available on New School Records and we are beyond excited! We want everyone to help us out and head out to a CD store near you and buy it you're your local store doesn't have it, ask them to ORDER it!
